Bhimtal Lake – Bhimtal lake is the most beautiful and famous sightseeing place in Bhimtal. You should definitely visit the small island at its centre which has a large aquarium that was previously a restaurant.

Kainchi Dham Temples & Ashrams – Kainchi Dham is a Hanuman temple and an ashram. It is located at a distance of 17 kilometers from Bhimtal and is a holy place on the route to Nainital and Ranikhet. It is situated in the middle of two hills, which cross each other to create the shape of scissors. Due to this reason, the place is called 'Kainchi Dham'.

Naukuchiatal Lake – Naukuchiatal Lake is a small nine-cornered lake situated at a distance of about 4 km from Bhimtal. There is a small lotus pond near Naukuchiatal, which adds to the beauty of the lake. As per traditional stories, Naukuchiatal is linked with Lord Brahma and even has a temple dedicated to him. There is giant Hanuman statue near this lake as well.

Victoria Dam – Victoria Dam is at a height of 40 feet located at one end of the Bhimtal Lake. It is a popular tourist attraction in Bhimtal as it has adjoining flower gardens placed on both sides of the dam, which attracts thousands of tourists who love clicking amazing photographs.

Hanuman Garhi Temple – This temple built on a hill is known for its spectacular views. It is dedicated to Lord Hanuman, who is depicted tearing open his chest to reveal Lord Rama and Goddess Sita in his heart. You can get the magnificent sunset and valley view of the Terai region. It is a famous sunset point in Bhimtal.

Hidimba Parvat – A beautiful hill, located at a distance of just 5 kms from Bhimtal gets its name from the demon named Hidimba, who was the wife of Bhima of Mahabharata. Surrounded by green trees and colourful flowers, Hidimba Parbat is a natural attraction in Bhimtal.

Ranikhet – Ranikhet is surrounded by tall mountains and is home to many holy temples, shopping malls, dams, and regiments, which drive tourists to visit this place. The best part is it offers a scenic view from every angle, which is sure to attract photographers and nature lovers. The distance from Bhimtal to Ranikhet is around 58 kms, which can be comfortably covered by hiring cabs from Bhimtal to Ranikhet.

Mukteshwar – Mukteshwar got its name from a 350 years old temple Mukteshwer Dham dedicated to Lord Shiva. Situated on the top of the mountain, the Mukteshwar Temple offers amazing views of the Himalayan range. It is at a distance of 46 kms from Bhimtal.

Nainital – Nainital is one of the most famous hill stations in Uttarakhand. The distance from Bhimtal to Nainital is about 22 kms. The town attracts domestic as well as foreign tourists as there are many beautiful places to visit in Nainital. It shines as a dazzling jewel in the Himalayan Mountains, surrounded by lakes and nature's bounty.
