Valley of Flowers in Uttarakhand is a small heaven located in Chamoli district. It was declared a National Park by UNESCO and the valley is surrounded by tall mountains on three sides and is at a height of 3500 to 6,500 metres above the sea level. Valley of Flowers National Park is famous for its pleasant meadows of alpine flowers, therefore it’s also known as “ Phoolon Ki Ghati” . These lush green regions are also home to a few endangered animal species.
Many tourists in India also visit it because as per Hindu mythology, it is the place where Lord Hanuman had collected the Sanjeevani buti for curing Lakshmana. Valley of flowers trek goes through dense forests along with Pushpawati river and can be reached by crossing many bridges, waterfalls, and glaciers on the way. Fulo ki ghati is a monsoon trek as it rains from July to mid-September. So, pack your bags accordingly to enjoy the pleasant weather in the Valley of Flowers.

Hemkund Sahib Gurudwara - Hemkund Sahib is a place which gives you a fascinating experience and sets you on a spiritual meeting with the Himalayas. It is a pilgrim centre for Sikhs devoted to Guru Gobind Singh. The distance from Valley of Flowers to Hemkund Sahib Gurudwara is just around 3.3kms, which can be easily covered by trekking from Valley of Flowers. Thousands of Sikhs often visit this place once a year.
Badrinath - Badrinath is one of the famous Char Dham Temples near Valley of Flowers at a distance of 25 kms. It is dedicated to Lord Vishnu and is one of the four Char Dham and Chota Char Dham pilgrimage sites. Many tourists travel from Dehradun to Govindghat and make it their starting point for Badrinath Yatra along with Valley of flowers.
Auli - Auli in Uttarakhand is a hill station in the north India. The Valley of Flowers National Park rests in the north of Auli. A lot of tourists go for skiing in Auli from November to March. Most of them prefer a trek from Joshimath to Auli to experience nature at its best.
The best time to book a Valley of Flowers tour package is from mid-July to end of August as there is heavy rainfall. However, the best time to visit is between August and september.
